It was such a delightful evening last Thursday to hold our first FTF members’ workshop & networking session in almost 2 years. We could feel it in the house at DBCS Circle Connects.

Meaningful conversations were exchanged and new friendships formed, this is the first and certainly won’t be the last. Special thanks to @impixelsg for being our venue partner!

Designers have the power to create spaces that can foster stronger bonds in the community, to celebrate diversity, create meaning, and inspire change. An open call for Singapore Design Awards, innovative projects will be selected for funding, project development and rapid prototyping.

Conceived and organised by the Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS), the SG Mark seeks to promote and recognise outstanding design projects that embody quality and user-centred design. The accolade also advocates good design adoption throughout the process of systematic thinking, planning and execution to enhance societies/communities and improve our environment. This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, we are holding the Awards Ceremony virtually to celebrate the success of the winners.

We had the pleasure of organising and hosting the lunch-time Good Design sharing session on 25 October 2019 at Genexis Lounge, Fusionopolis. Past SG Mark winners’ representatives – Ms Yvon Bock (Founder & CEO, Hegen), Ms Celia Law (Design Lead, Dell) and Mr Helder Filipov (Creative Director, American Standard) – shared about their winning projects and how the accolade has helped open doors for their products in local and overseas markets as well as unify team members within their organisations.

We’d like to thank JTC for opening up the cosy space for the talk and Moleskine for sponsoring our tokens of appreciation to our speakers. We hope to see you at our next event!
